
Inbound sales call script
Last week at our SaaS Sales Strategy webinar, we talked about the benefits of calling your trial users (also wrote about this on PandoDaily a while back) and I gave people an example of how an inbound sales call could sound like.
A few people emailed me afterwards and asked if I had a inbound sales call script I could share with them. So here you go :)
If you have a B2B SaaS product and free trial users, ask for their number and call them as soon as possible after signup (preferably within 5 minutes) and use the script template below!

Opening
Hey! My name is _________, I saw that you just signed up for our product _________ and wanted to personally reach out and say “hi”.
I know you are just getting started with your trial and wanted to see if you had any questions or if there is anything I can do to help you get the most out of your trial?
User responds (answer questions/interact with user).
Qualifying

I also wanted to make sure that we are a good fit for you and that you’ll succeed with _________. I’m curious.
- How did you hear about us in the first place?
- What’s your main challenges/goals regarding _________?
- How many people in your team would use __________?
- [Other product specific questions]?
- What other solutions are you checking out?
- How are you going to make a decision if we’re a good fit?
Closing (if qualified)
Great. It sounds like our product _________ is the perfect fit for you.
Take the next week to give it a good test run and do _________ and then let’s set a time to chat so I can hear how things are going and answer any more in depth questions for you. Would next week same day/time work?
