UI/UX Improvement: Bulk editing of custom fields

Custom fields in Close are powerful & flexible ways to add additional information to your sales data.

After some good user feedback, we realized our first iteration of the user interface for adding custom fields was clunky and required far too many clicks in the not-so-uncommon use case of adding or editing many custom fields at once.

Old:

For each custom field on a lead, you used to have to click “+ Add”, then open the dropdown for the field name, then choose your field, and then open & choose from the value dropdown as well.

New:

Now, if you have several custom fields, clicking “+ Add” will open a “bulk add” mode where you see your custom fields listed out already with a simple way to choose a value for each:
